I’m proud to say that my employer, the Sleep Wellness Institute, will open CPAP2GO, a retail store specializing in CPAP masks, machines, hoses and other equipment on July 8. The store will be located in the Milwaukee suburb of Franklin, Wis., at 7017 S. 27th Street.
We’re getting into this business because our experience has shown that nationally there is only about a 55% compliance rate with CPAP therapy, which is a terrible shame since CPAP is the acknowledged gold standard for people with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. Our Center has a compliance rate of more than 85%, because we focus on regular, caring follow-up with our patients, helping them adjust to their CPAP equipment and finding exactly the right type and fit of mask.
CPAP2GO will offer a 30/30 advantage: more than 30 different masks to choose from, and a free 30 night mask comfort/fit guarantee. We believe that this convenient store will help more people to get the help they need … and the service they deserve.
I’m especially proud of my colleague, Cody Glorioso, who has put this store together in addition to his duties as Durable Medical Equipment Director for the Sleep Wellness Institute. He’s done a superb job of setting up the store, hiring the right staff, and securing the best possible brands like Respironics, Fisher-Paykel, and ResMed. Congrats, Cody. You deserve it!
