Okay, I guess I was a little harsh on Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys QB from Burlington, Wis., when I put him on my “Worst Wisconsinites” list.  This was right after he sang (sort of) “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at a Cubs game in Chicago.

While it’s true that ‘rich” and “dumb” don’t necessarily equal evil, I won’t remove Terrible Tony from the list completely.  He’s still on there.  I’ve just replaced him in the top three with “terrible June weather.”  After all, even Romo didn’t cause people’s homes to be washed away in a flood.

But he DID make Roseann Barr look like an outstanding singer when he took the mike at Wrigley.  And that did irreparable damage to Wisconsinites everywhere.
